2 Parts Professional, 1 Part Cute
There is a recipe to making your work attire just the right amount of cute, while checking all of the professional boxes on the list. Whether its a day full of meetings or you just can’t do boring work clothes, take a look at this guide I use when getting ready for another day of the corporate life.

Dressing for the office doesn’t have to suck! Maybe you can’t rock those jeans you love so dearly, but you can be equally fashionable in a pair of trousers or wide leg pants. These pants are beyond comfortable and they add that chic touch to have you looking polished.

I love having a feminine touch in every outfit I wear, and you just can’t go wrong with bell sleeves and ruffles. You can easily skip running home before happy hour with your friend, because they transition so well into an evening outfit. While also being appropriate for the day of meetings you are about to endure.

Shoes can make or break a professional outfit! Now it’s simple, stick with classics – loafer mules are always a safe bet. If you were to do a simple outfit, add a pop of color in the shoes or a fun detail in the design. If you do a fun outfit maybe go for something similar to what I am wearing in the photos; black leather loafer mules, adorned with oversized pearls.

We’re heading into fall and the colors are so gorgeous on everyone! Some of my favorites include that mustard yellow – which I hate saying, so I prefer to call it Beyonce Yellow. Reasoning, who remembers that gorgeous dress she rocked in the Hold Up music video? Yeah, I’m obsessed.
Anyways, play with colors like yellow, emerald green, red, and camel. You can do this with any piece you are wearing; pants, jewelry, shoes, jackets, or whatever you’re into!
When it comes to patterns in the fall and in the office, I like to stick with the classics. We’re talking gingham, plaids, hounds-tooth, and windowpane. Not only are the flattering on everyone, but they’re also equally professional!

I love the look that a blazer creates in the fall – so chic and so effortless. They’re easily my favorite go-to for any office look. I really think every girl needs to have a simple black blazer in their closet – it’s a staple. Going back to patterns, you could pair a gorgeous plaid blazer with a crisp white button up top and a pair of loafer mules and voila! That’s 2 parts professional and 1 part cute!
I love hearing what you guys have to say, comment and share your favorite work outfits below! Bonus points if someone can find the perfect fall coat that is 2 parts professional and 1 part cute! They’re my obsession and luckily living in Seattle means they’re essential to life!
